a piston blew out and i need a new engine a new everything..... total cost for a new engine and all the work to be done was 4200 dollars man its not worth it......just race once in a while.....but dont over rev it.....it sucks not having your car for about 2 weeks and a half.....while driving a sentra which is super wack.....Take car of your car and dont make the same mistake i did

 

How did you over rev it and blow a piston out? Did you downshift instead of upshift? Do you have the Hondata reflash and rev past the factory intended MAX RPM?

You paid $4200, I hope you kept the old engine and/or parts, if not you just gave money away.

 

what i did was i went from second to third and i guess didnt make third all the way......the little red light came on and boooom i heard something i thought maybe it was just my oil filter but nope you should have seen the huge hole i had.....yea i stilll have the original k20z3 engine thats i messed up im using many of the parts i need....i brought a brand new engine from the dealer for 3500 0 miles not bad at all.....

 

Sounds like you shoved in back into first and popped the clutch...the way you described it, you never would have blown your engine as the rev-limiter would have kept you save. Keep the new motor in better shape!
