I picked up an oem Civic cd player today for my '92 Prelude. It won't play any of the cd's that I have except the one that was in it when I got it. Do oem cd players play certain types of cd's?

Also, it takes quite a bit of time for it to load a song. Is it possible to make it read cd's faster by cleaning the inside of it?

it may just play real cd's, and not cd-rs, cd-rws, mp3, or wma files.
