I was wondering if there was any way to get dual exhaust on my 2000 prelude, it has a huge coffee can on the back that sounds great but looks silly from when i bought it. i dont want a normal exhaust with one that doesnt work on the other side, i want a fully funtional one. If anybody knows if these are available to buy and where i can get one it would be greatly appreaciated.

I don't know of anyone that makes a dual exhaust for your prelude.

yea, u can put dual exhaust on anything, u just have to get it custom made and it does look good i saw one

As with anything asthetic, everything here so far is personal preference; I, for one, like the look of a dual exhaust on a lude when done right. If someone wants to get more technical about what it will do to performance (from experience) and if it has adverse effects, that's something different. But as everyone else has said, you will probably have to get this custom done. I would suggest finding a muffler you like, buy two and take it to a reputable exhaust or speed shop. If they can't hook you up with mandrel bends, figure out your configuration, buy the appropriate bends online and get it done right. Good luck and post pics when your done!

 

those pictures look great, im going to look into it. i dont know why you would take that off your car, it looks good to me. the only problem now is will it sound like a lawnmower and what it would cost.
