Default crx si vs hf weight

I'm looking for a list of differences in the weights of parts between the Si and HF. I've seen such a list before but I can't find it now. I'm sure someone has this bookmarked...

Justin

I did search. "HF" is too short of a string for the search engine. I searched for "weigh" and "weight" and read every relevant post. Nothing detailed the differences of the HF vs Si.

That's not what I'm looking for. The problem here is that you did not read my first post

What I'm looking for is the specific differences between the cars.

For instance, the HF has a lighter front bumper support, lighter front sway bar, etc.

Aren't the differences obvious? Features, safety improvements. . . . Are you looking for exact parts weight differences? Good luck.

No, the parts aren't obvious. How would they be??

Yes, I'm looking for specific parts. There's more than one list out there... I just can't remember where I saw them. It's really not that much to ask.

hf has a lighter front bumper support
no sunroof
no rear wiper
no rear swaybar
smaller front swaybar
I believe the shitty seats in them weigh less than si seats
smaller rims and tires probably added to the weight difference when stock
stock motor and trans may have shaved a couple pounds off the total weight

I'm sure there is more, but I don't have the actual weight of anything

edit: rear bumper support is probably different too

i have stock 88 hf
all i know for sure these parts are lighter than all model crx 88-91
- lighter bumpers support
- lighter seats
- lighter axels (hollow)
- lighter front swaybar (hollow)
- lighter rear LCA's (box type identical to type r model)
- lighter doors
- no rear wiper
Not sure:
- smaller gas tank
- maybe lighter engine?? since stock hf only has 8 valve instead of 16 valve? haha

hey,
i own a '91 HF and had a '91 Si that i sold. some other differences that i found in the two chassis ontop of what others listed already were
-smaller rear Lca's in the hf
-lighter pedal assembly in the hf
-smaller front knuckles and brakes
-support brace between B pillar and inner rear wheel housings behind plastic quarter trim panels in the interior.
-flywheel is considerably lighter on stock hf motor and so is the crank pulley
-no fold up cargo cover in the rear on the hf
