H22A Swap 4th Gen Akkord
I know this has been beaten like a dead horse. As you can see by the name I werk on Civics. Just have a quick question about the H22 in to a 4th Gen Accord. I know he can use his F-block trans, axles, motor mounts etc.... The main biggest question is about the harness and ECU plugs. Will the 93-96 H22 ECU's plug into the 4 gen wiring harness or do I need to convert it. Also is it able to retain the accord motor wiring harness just swaping it over to the H22 kinda like with Civic swaps just adding wires if needed for V-tec, knock sensors etc...... from the ECU out. I searched on H22A.com and they had a good artile about the swap but didn't say any thing about the ECU and engine harness that I seen. I seen the ECU where they had to velcro it in with the Spoon Sport V-tec controller but I seen a harness converter which wasn't sure if because of the controller or if its a converter for the harness to the ECU kinda like 96+ Civics to change from OBDII to OBDI and change plugs.
Thanks alot for any info

I don't know about all that, but H22 powered 4th gens kick some rather major ****.
Make sure your friend used the H22 transmission. The Accord transmission will "suck the power right out of it."

No need to reply to post. I got these answers last night. The ECU will plug in if its from 93-96 OBDI and the engine harness swaps over form the Accord to the H22 just have to add wires.
