hey, i searched and all, but more or less a question for you guys..

so i had disconnected my battery and what not, so now my oem radio wants the code so i ran (well, drove) over to honda blah blah blah. So they say i have to take it to the dealership it was originally bought at, so the local Zimbrick Honda can't look it up since the car wasn't from them.. I bought it used, so Im not too sure the dealership, so before i drive out to the dealership ( about an hour away) do i have to go through them, or should zimbrick be able to look it up? i think it was bought from a honda dealership callled honda city or whatever... I don't want to drive out there, and when i called they said they need to see the registration, my drivers license, etc etc.

alls good, called zimbrick honda out here and have an appt set up to bring in the 99 civic si and have 'em pull the radio, get the code and then call over to honda city and get the code.

i'd do it myself, but eh, what the hell. Why not take in the car and have it sit inside at zimbrick all day!
