Default burning oil question

ok i have a 97 si coupe ( ex in the states) d16y8 and it burns a lot of oil, i heard somewhere that if you pull the plugs and put a little bit of atf in each cylinder and let it sit over night, then do and oil change, and after driving it for a few km's it will reduce the oil burning????????????????????????

anyone else heard of this or even tried it????????????????
thanks

never heard of atf fluid can fix piston rings. do a compression test to check out if piston rings are really bad. those bitches are pain in the butt to replace. time consuming.
