I don't think you have a D16A VTEC, but whatever...
Does your check engine light come on? If so, check the codes that come up on the ECU. If you don't know how to do that, the ECU is under the carpet on the passenger's footwell, count the number of blinks emitted by the red light. One long blink = 10, short =1, add up all the blinks and you'll get teh code. There will be pauses between multiple codes.
I'd be willing to bet it's a distributor or main relay issue though.

i did that already i haven't reset my ecu yet but the codes i had was o2 sensor, map sensor, coolant temp. sensor, cylinder position sensor, and vehical speed sensor....now i replaced my map sensor...and fixed my cyp sensor...replaced my o2 sensor so the only codes i have left is my vehical speed sensor and coolant temp. sensor
First, reset your ECU and see if that helps at all.
How did you fix your CYP, did you replace the unit itself or just the whole distributor?
The VSS code wouldn't cause your vehicle to shut off, but you should fix it ASAP regardless. To fix the CTS issue, first check it to make sure it's within spec, and if it's bad, replace it.
