Has anyone done a DIY Spray Job if so how hard was it what preping did u do also what did u use to spray it with.

my boy just recently painted his crx about 2 weeks ago. he did all the body work and prep'ed it all himself. for a DIY paint job and it being his first time the car came out pretty good. the hood was the only fault. it was kinda unevenly painted.

as far as preping goes. its a pretty long process if you wanna get everything done right. me and my dad used to prep his cars b4 he got them painted and i tell you its not fun. sanding took a whole day if you started from day to night. then masking and ripping off all the rubber lining and wat not. if you take your time the car will come out great. i wish i had pictures of my dads rides. he got them painted constantly. always trying to find a color not many ppl had.
