I want to repaint my wipers, and I was wondering if I have to sand all the peeling paint off first. . .then spray paint. . .or should I just paint right over the old peeling paint. Also, what kind/color of spray paint should I use?
I also need to replace the plastic rubber piece under both my passenger/driver side windows, due to the fact that the rubber is dry and brittle, and it is beginning to crack. Where can I find this plastic piece?
TIA

The rubber pieces are $50 each NEW from Honda. There is now way in hell I was gonna pay that much for em, so when my car goes in the shop next week they are gonna strip the rest of the rubber off and paint that part flat black on each side. It'll look fine until i can find some good rubber at a junkyard...
For the wipers, remove them, remove the blade, and give em a few coats of flat black spraypaint and you'll be good to go
Should I go ahead and sand off the rest of the wiper, so when I apply the paint, it will appear to be even and smooth.
hit it with several coats, and all will be well.
