Default Just put 23mm rear swaybar and JDM ITR Suspension my EG4

I'm really happy with the result.

Mods:
ASR Brace
23mm ITR Swaybar w/ Endlinks
New OEM 23mm Bushings
JDM ITR 98 Spec Shocks/Springs
DC2R Bush Rear LCA's

Can someone please clarify/comment the handling characteristics I'm seeing - just so I know "if it's in my head".

The rear feels very tight. I love it. However I think the front is still a tad soft and the front still bodyrolls into a corner. It's very very easy to make the tyre squeel and lose a bit of traction. The back constantly feels 'on edge' as if it wants to flick out.

I have shitty stock steelies/types on it at the moment. Nothing else has changed.

Is what I'm seeing a result of the small front swaybar (14mm I think?). JDM ITR has 25mm up front to match the 23mm rear.

Should this be my next mod? Maybe with front and rear triangle struts?

You are experiencing more oversteer now, so the back slides out.

I was expecting that to be the case.

Is the answer one, or all of the following?

Front 25mm Sway bar from JDM DC2R
Front Strut
Rear Strut

Smaller front sway bar and larger rear will give you oversteer. Naturally, FWD Hondas experience understeer. You get a larger rear to counteract the understeer. Get a slightly larger front to balance things out. I believe an EG6 has a 21mm front sway bar.

You can run a GSR front sway bar 24mm, and readily available for under 50 bux.

Although you would need gsr front lower control arms too.

Thanks Grendel, I think I will go with your recommendation.

I don't mind the oversteer, but I don't like how the rear feels really tight but the front seems loose. Hopefully 19/20mm swaybar, then the struts will tighten it up.

Thanks. News rims and Toyo T1R's are on the way.

Whats the optimal rim sizing and offset for EG?

Mine isn't lowered, and because of my driveway I don't want it too low. The ITR suspension dropped it 1-2cm.

I was thinking Rota Track R's or Group N's. Can I get them in 4x100 16x7 in a fat offset? Maybe +30 or +25?

I don't want scraping.

You'll want around 40-45.

You don't want scraping(you mean rubbing?) but you want low offset...? Not gonna happen.

You need to trim/remove fender liners, and roll the rear lip. Or go w/ a higher offset.

Good conservative eg wheel fitment after fender work would be 7.5" +28-ish, of course you can go lower.
