Default Buying 'spec' springs? Ala Carte menu?

Hi,

From my understanding Honda/Acura springs are 2.5" I.D. Given that, it opens up a whole shopping list of "menu spec" springs. Eibach, H&R, etc,. have them.

Most of the "spring sets" available look too soft in the rear. Has anyone gone to the "ala carte menu" and ordered the exact stiffness/length they want, rather than buying a set? I have an Type R and would like about 350 front and 400 rear.

Any and all input appreciated!
John

your understanding is incorrect. 2.5" springs are common on threaded coilover setups that many people run on our cars (i.e. ground control, skunk2, ebay generic, etc)

Thanks!

Any idea what the I.D. actually is? I've seen a bunch of different numbers.

Thanks,
John
