Water Leak
I need help my 1990 crx si is LEAKING WATER.
I am pretty sure where its coming from. Looks like from he top of the hatch right behind my head. I looked outside on the top and the striping on the driver side looks to be to short cuz when I looked on the other side the striping goes all the way to the end of the glass. Can someone help me fix this. I am thinking of just sealing the whole hatch. Water came out of the hatch to when I opened it from like the corners. Someone PLEASE HELP ME
it has been rainning here for like almost 2 weeks straight.

Could be the drains for your sunroof are plugged. All the dirt and crud going down the drains over years can clog them up. Get a good manual that will show you how they are routed and clean them out. Probably a lot of crud has built up over the years.
Is your sunroof rusted? Could be water getting in there, are you sure it is sealed completely? I'm courious, why did you seal your sunroof? I love having mine open!
I just bought it and I didnt mind cuz I hate sunroofs. But it looks to be totally sealed. Ill check tomorrow when its light outside. It doesnt look rusted either.

u suck at searching. If your sunroof is completely sealed, then there are some things to do. Seal around rear washer squirter, remove hatch and around the top you will see a sealant, most likely dried and cracked, replace with fresh pliable sealer. Then yank the damn strips out of your roof, clean well and fill with permatex weatherstripping. Use a damn ice cube to level it and take your time and you can make it look damn close to perfect.
