Default Wiring Harness Confusion to the MAX!

Ok, I have a Ek Hatch. It's an auto to manual conversion, and has a auto dash and engine harness. The car also has a b series motor. The engine harness is cut and sliced to hell (i bought it this way) to get the b series to fit with vtec. I want to get a new harness for the swap. The car is a 96 making it OBD2A, but the only harness i found was an si OBD2B. Would i have to change the dash harness? or is it possible to have an OBD2b engine harness on a OBD2a dash harness?

either harness you get is going to plug into your chassis harness so it wouldn't matter so much as you have the right ecu to run with the motor
damn obd2a and b

bump for a second opinion though
