Rotate the entire rotating assembly???

Default Rotate the entire rotating assembly???

I was reading Bambam's "how to build a realiable lsvtec/b20vtec" and he said rotate the entire assembly. I don't get that. As this is my first build, when should i know when is the right time to rotate the assembly while in the build???...Please help guys...Thanks.!

I think he meant to rotate the assembly to check for binding or clearance issues. IE, after you put the bearings in No 1 conrod, give the crank a spin to make sure it rotates freely.

rotate to make sure everything is rotating smoothly without any type of interference, also do this after you've installed the head w/the timing belt.
