Clicking while driving
I have a civic with a gsr swap, i did a pull on an empty street earlier today and when i shifted from 2nd to 3rd i heard a loud click, i thought it was just the dash jumping back when i shift hard. Now when i takeoff (not racing, just normal driving) i hear clicks from the front end until the car actually gets moving... What could cause this? i hope the axels not expletiveed....could it be the suspension? i checked the suspension and it seemed fine...
any1 ever have this happen to them? what was it and how much does it cost to fix?
also, is it okay to drive it if the axles busted? im not talking long and far distances, i just need to get to school tomorrow and then to the racing shop. Probably 15 miles max

it could be several things.from axles.to front upper and lower control arm bushings.ball joints..etc..u have to check on them one by one. it happened to me once.replaced ball joints, both cv axles, check everything.turned out front driver side LCA bushing was worn.
Drive your car slowly in circle in each direction and listen closely. Also, does it make popping or clicking when you reverse it slowly? like out of a parking spot? CV joints is my guess; I just had to replace both of my half shafts! LOL
