ok i think this might generate more responses in the A/C forum rather than the 92-00 civic.
here's the situation, i have a 97 ex coupe and just this morning i did a 00 front end conversion. everything lined up except the hood. here are some pics....






for some reason the hood isnt closing all the way. well it closes but i get gaps just above the headlights. at first i thought the bump stops for the hood. but through the gaps i see that the hood isnt even making contact with teh bump sops.

 

I may be overlooking something simple, but you did use the hood from the 99-00 right?

The 96-98 and 99-00 use slightly different hoods.

 

yea its a 00 si hood. here is a pic of my 97 hood...
