as the title states i have a few questions about my motor. i bought it with the swap in it and am just now going to do some upgrades and need to know exactly what parts i have. i searched for this but had little luck.

Bottom:b18c1 (please don't tell me i have a gs-r motor)
trans:S80 3094276
Header: the stamp on the left side is hard to read but the one on the right reads 8A28

main reason i ask is the trans, it's been acting up recently and i need to know what i have before i can consider my options. for the record the car doesn't like to go into reverse or first gear sometimes. other times it shifts like butter...sometimes it wont let me take it out of reverse. any ideas?

 

yeah u have a gsr motor with gsr tranny. p72 is gsr
b18c1 is usdm gsr motor. are u expecting you have something else ?

no, the reason i bought the car was the gsr swap. i just meant that i knew that. thanks for the links pdotjones, but the reason i asked here was because i was trying to figure out which of the 3 tranny possibilities was mine.
