how do u tell if it is a type s ??????????

well i am looking to do a swap in a 92 civic hatch and i found a motor but how do u tel if it is a type s i don't want to go spend money and not get what i want ...

If the motor is from a type S it will have K20A2 or K20Z1 stamped on it.

look on the left side of the motor from front view, there should be sticker that will have the code on it

or on the right side, where the stamp is. It's a lot harder to fudge a stamp that it is a sticker
