92 salvage(theft) dent on door, quarter panel, both fenders in the front, and trunk a little. Stripped back no seats in back,2000 Si Front end conversion, needs seatbelts,GSR motor 53k miles dc headers, intake, b16 pistons and rings, 2 gsr leather seats, missing little interior parts for 4200? And needs paint. Tell me what you think.....thanx

it just sounds like you'd end up parting it out and losing money on the deal. it doesn't really sound like you could eventually get this beast back to showroom without spending some ridiculous time/money, esp. in bodywork and paint. hmm you could almost afford a real gsr for that money...

 

that front end kills the deal....
move on there should be more things out there for just as good of a price

i would never buy another persons project, who knows if its built right. I would rather take a little more times and do it myself so i know whats going on and how to fix it if it breaks

 

why would you put b16 pistons on a gsr engine??

i would shop around. that front end looks like *** imo. also with the $$$ that you have to put into it you could find another car that is in much better shape.

So its a 92-95 with a 96+ front end conversion? Does anyone have pics of this done? And why would it look bad? I never seen it done before, but ive always thought that the pre 95 honda headlights (civics) suck *** because they are two pieces. And most of the time they dont line up perfect.
The car the guy described sounds like a pos! Needs paint, dents all the way around it, no interior, salvaged title (banks wont give you loans on that if you need it?), somewhat of a rebuilt gsr motor?
Just think if you bought it and wrecked it, the insurance company wont give you hardly anything for it because it wasnt worth anything (salvaged).

I brought my 93 for $3600 no salvage, no dent, no **** just a lot of miles.
