Does anyone know where you can buy an new pheonix yellow ITR front bumper that doesn't need to be painted PY? I have been shopping for a new one, but all need to be painted... any help is awesome!

 

All "new" bumper covers have to be painted.....

the only parts that come pre-painted from the factory are the lip,side skirts,rear valances, and i believe the rear spoiler(but I could be wrong).......

 

Dude, I've been looking for a used one the past 6 months and haven't came across one yet that's in decent condition and painted PY, I'll probably just end up buying a primered one from len soon

 

You can get the front airdam pre-painted, but all bumper skins have to be painted. Besides, without clearcoat PY changes color and will have to be color-matched to your car.

haha honda doesnt even have it primered for you just black plastic lol

I have been looking for one for a year or more.
5 times now someone has promised to ship a bumper and/or a hood and then flaked out after agreeing to terms.
So frustrating.....

 

PY is a single stage paint

 

with that said what type of wax should you use? buffer?

 

i gave up trying to find a used one so i am just fiberglassing mine to fix it. so far so good.

The primer is black.

I bought a brand new, primed one from the dealer when I built the PY. It was around $225 IIRC. OEM, not PY yet primed.
