I bought a (Skunk2 Mega Power Exhaust Code: 413-05-1530) for an Integra Type R year 2000.

Can anyone help me?

Why is the exhaust made in Taiwan?

The diameter of the tip is Not 110mm but 100mm!

The piping is less than 60mm in diameter!

The biggest problem I have is that the exhaust is around 150mm short to the catalytic converter.....so I cannot even install it!

Is in it suposed to fit directly, or i need to buy some sort of an extension?

geeesh, are you sure it's the real thing? is it a different model or for a different car? you could just install a test pipe or any sort of extension. good luck.

 

Well...i bought the Item from Tunerz Image Inc. CA, an authorised dealer of Skunk2!

Is your car U.S. spec(I doubt it) or Euro spec or JDM spec?

That is where your problem lies, would be my bet....

The exhaust is designed for use a USDM cat lenght. It sounds like you didn't recieve the correct exhaust if it is not 70mm in diameter on the piping.

 

Well.... on Skunk2 website it states that the 70mm which is Mega Power R is not produced for Integra Type R. Only the 60mm one which is Mega Power is produced for Integra Type R!!

Before i bought the item, i asked the dealer if it fitted a JDM spec, and he said yes!!!

 

It will fit, all you have to do is extend the cat or make a custom test pipe

 

actually, that is what i was thinking of doing! I just want to be sure that i received the proper item and that the piping is slightly bigger for better performance!!
