Default tsx hids capable of hi/low beams? help

Oi have a set of tsx hids with projectors. Anyone know if the plug and play bi-xenon kits would give me hi/low beams. I figured the shield would have to move not the bulb, but im not sure?

just looking on ebay i found these as an example

TSX projectors are only low beam. And will only take D2S bulbs. Makes no sense to put a plug and play kit on a OEM projector?? You can go with TL projectors because they are bi xenon and have a funtional flap to get high beam. Tsx doesn't.

Well you can get around 100 or so for TSX projectors on hidplanet, which means you're well on your way.

I'd want a set of TSX projectors

Sell the TSX projectors and get some FX35 bixenon projectors. They sell for under $100.

Actually, wait a second.

Don't sell the TSX's.

You can get FX35 projectors for CHEAP, like he says, under 100, and then you can swap the TSX lens over for some intense sharp colorful cutoff. It would be like a budget Acura TL projector.

A lot of people have done this, go over to hidplanet.com/forums and join and you can see some results, how tos, and pictures of this setup

only if the tsx's have clear lenses (not fresnel lenses)...

i think the price for fx projectors have risen quite a bit lately. maybe people finally caught on to their cheapness... stupid supply and demand.

I'm not sure what the cutoff date was, but all TSX lenses before 2006 or 2007 I believe were clear lenses. It's easy to tell in pictures, because the fresnel lenses are obvious.

If anyone has the specific date that would be great.
