ok just wanted to see if anyone else had problems...i installed the front camber kit which is the whole a arm with sliding ball joint. installed early nov on my 99 Integra LS. im running F2 coilovers, and not sure how much i'm lowered but heres a pic
.
there is no finger gap in the front. the problem: i looked at the A arm today since my friend sat in my car and heard some noise. the part where the ball joint slides is starting to fold....since it starting to fold, and break, the bolts for the Ball joint went up a little and every hard bump, i was hitting the shock tower and i can see indents engine bay. i didnt know was this a common problem, known problem, or is it just weak?
at this moment i'm planning on going back stock since even with the blox i still kept -2.0 camber just because. even i go back stock, i'm guessing camber will set back to maybe -2.6 or -2.8....i know that toe affects most tire wear so i dont mind having 2.6...but just dont want anything -3.0 camber. anyone thing i might have problems using the stock upper control arms?
the reason i changed to the blox was my previous control arm ball joint had popped out so instead of buying stock replacement i decided to get blox since it was almost the same price. but now i'm gonna get some used stock arms from a friend to replace it.

My shock towers have dents from my SPC camber adjusting UCA. Its common.
Really, our cars have so little front suspension travel stock that they are perfectly capable of hitting the bumpstops during cornering. Then we lower the car, further reducing the available travel, and install a taller upper balljoint, reducing it further still, and its no wonder there's metal to metal contact.
Pull the camber kit. Its doing more harm than good, especially with the car dumped like that (and yes, flushed front tires is dumped).

I've been daily driving with -4.0* of front camber for over 1.5 years, no unusual tire wear on the street tires. Now, the autocross tires, heh, but those are not treated nicely (lots of inside tire spin on corner exit).
And in case anyone is curious, it required a camber kit to add that much camber. I doubt you could get that extreme from lowering alone.
