Default B series VC

Just painted my VC. I remembered reading somewhere that i had to re-torque?
the bolt back to factory. Is that really necessary


Motor is out the car BTW.

Yes, torquing it to factory specs would prevent the valve cover studs from breaking due to overtightening. I mean you could tighten the valve cover nuts without a torque wrench, just don't overtighten.
