Fit a stock "ek" hood in the back of a 96-00 civic coupe? I need to transport one but don't have a truck readily avaliable. I've heard of people doing it in integra, but not a civic.

I'll take some measurements to be sure, just wanted to hear from people if it's doable.

i tried it in my em1, and it was way too small. Had to call the g/f to come pick up my CF hood in her 4runner, and it was a tight fit in there.

Just take a large blanket and tape the hood on top of that and on to your existing hood.

Works fine, and is very functional.

Won't even be close with the frame parts that are back there. Even with the panels out, you might have three feet of room across.

Fiberglass reinforced tape > hurricane force winds

(tape is $5 at staples.)

Man, I'd still feel a little leery, but OK!

Yeah I kinda had the assumption that it probably would NOT fit in the back. But I thought it was worth asking..

lol @ the tape idea, I actually thought about it and considered it, except that I have to drive about an hour and a half on the freeway.

I'm assuming it's illegal to drive with no hood especially in cali?
