Last time I topped it off, it was with DOT3, Prestone.

Next time, I bleed the brakes, its going to be with a DOT 4 Preferablly something from Honda If they have it

I change mine every 3 years with Honda (DOT3 I think. I don't want to go out to the garage right now.)

This is my currrent choice....but I track the car pretty violently. I bleed my brakes so often that "changing" fluid is pretty much a way of life. In my Daily drivers I don't change it.......

No Motul for you? I use only Motul these days, but ATE Super Blue/Gold or Valvoline Synth in the street cars.

Nope.....my shop started carrying this. So now I am a Royal Purple & Wilwood *****! Brake fluid form a company that makes brakes......made sense to me.

Ive run Motul/SuperBlue in the past though.....can't say I notice a difference between High Performance fluids.

Ford spec dot 3.

Bleed it a few times a year before track events. I tend to bleed it a lot when I do get around to it

Can using different brands of brake fluid change the feel of anything in a daily driver. Cuz I changed my clutch fluid recently with some clear cheap brand and now I have a inconsistent clutch with blackish fluid in the reservoir.

Replaced it all with Prestone Dot4 when I did my SS brake hoses. Haven't had a prob since. I really only bleed when theres a noticeable pedal difference. It's just a PITA sometimes.

I use Valvoline synpower in everything I own. It is relatively cheap and seams to work as well as anything else to me. Of course I don't track my car so I don't know about how it would perform under those conditions. My guess is not very well. I also flush my brakes about every 18 months or so. Anytime the fluid gets coloration it means there is moisture in it. Time to change.

usually top it off when it's low, or when changing rotors and such after bleeding them. last thing put in it i think was the o'rielly dot3.

I run ATE Superblue DOT4. The rest of my setup consists of Brembo blanks, Goodridge SS lines, and Performance Friction CarbonMetallic pads. I'm very pleased with the performance per dollar of this combo, and I couldn't be happier.
