my ITR was in pompano for a while , but its itr 00-501 and i had her while she was there

 

Yeah, I know who owns it - Manny, he's a good guy. He doesn't frequent here though.

He spent quite some time restoring it into perfect running stock order. It is still safe and alive.

 

HOW OFTEN DO YOU TALK TO THIS GUY? I KINDA WANT TO SEE PICS OF IT AND TALK TO HIM ALITTLE.

Hey what up 167 here. She's doing fine right now, had her almost 2 years now. Spent alot of time getting it back to stock. When I first got it, it had oversized injectors and a p28 ecu (which I had to figure out the hard way). I picked it up from a dealer in hollywood, FL and they said it was all stock. Unfortunately after about 2-3 months I had to replace the piston rings. (one day I tried to start her and wouldn't). Ever since I did that, replaced the injectors, and re-programmed the ecu it's been running good (still burns a lot of oil though).

Installed aem cold air, dc headers, skunk2 exhaust. Plan on keeping it stock for a while. (When I get it paid off and get a second car maybe I will think about doing more things to it but right now its my DD)

By the way, who the heck put that sticker on passenger side of the dashboard lol??! Sit down, shut up, and hold on? LOL.. the dealer tried to take it off and i spent the longest time cleaning the glue..grrrrr!

yeah it was my car and it was boosted. does it still have the red seats and black wheels and the turbo sticker on the airbag side? i love that car. what did you do with the p28 and injectors? do you have any pics of it now?

 

well I replaced the injectors back to stock injectors.. I left he p28 there but at it re-programmed for my setup. A friend of neo's did it for me...... yeah the red seats are still installed and black wheels.. looks almost the same as before minus the intercooler and the new exhaust..

unfortunately I dont have any good pics.. maybe I will take some after I wash her this weekend.. for now all I have is this pic from a camera phone

and the sticker I spent forever trying to remove LOL because the dealer ripped it off and left the glue on the dashboard

Glad to see it is still around and safe. For the hardwork. I know someone that can clean off the glue. Does really good work.

I was thinking the same thing. Last time I saw that car I was doing a compression test on it.

ha last time i heard about that car was a car meet in west broward when someone asked me if it was "cool " to take that car becuase i diddnt know them , i told them i know you so they ssaid alright
i think it was just crap talk anyway , but that was over a year ago .

Ahh, so you were the owner in between me and DrkSol for about 6 months? I ended up getting it from a dealer in hollywood. was this the same one or did you take it to carmax? he told me someone came in and traded it in for an M3. Was that you or was he BSing me?

I saw the for sale ad. I went with a few friends to the dealer to make sure they didnt park it outside. Cool owner. He was asking why. So I told him the story on how if he keeps in the open it will get stolen and he saw mine. I was just there making sure it went to a good home and didnt get stripped overnight. So he kept the car at his friends garage when they were fixing the a/c. I wasn't buying it just making sure it went to a good home. This was at the dealership in hollywood next to 441.
