hi my name is marcos and im puting together a type r motor.

my question is would i be safe using stage 1 or 2 cams on stock itr internals?
and also wut cams would u recomend?

-i am leaning towards stage 1 or 2 skunk 2 cams
-my bottom end has 12.1 pistons
- and i want to run stage 1 or 2 cams on my motor

Get springs and retainers. I wouldn't go with the tuner series Skunk2s. There is better out there.

 

right now im looking at crower stage 1 cams.

do u think the itr springs and retainers will do good on these cams??

 

I'd keep the stock cams. Any small cams (Crower 1s, S2S1's, etc) won't be a real big improvement for the money spent.
