there is no way to tell whether its an ITR/GS-R/SiR-G.... on JDM blocks, they are all stamped P72/B18C (1.8 liter w/vtec block), except if it has a red stamp on the engine code... of course, this is easily cleaned off and usually is when they are shipped here. The only way you might be able to tell for sure, is by contacting someone at Honda Japan and give them the serial# on the block (under the engine code i.e. B18C) they can look that up and see what car it was placed in... they use these numbers for that exact reason... hope this helps!
