reason for idle problem?
i just installed an intake manifold on my d15b7 and everything was fine at first and then it started to idle funny, most of the time it will do it but sometimes it wont.. it jumps up and down about 500 rpms. im guessing its an air leak somewhere but i cant find one. any suggestions on what it might be?

No, that wouldn't cause the problem. You could have no radiator cap on and it would idle fine. Bleed the coolant. The most basic way is to take off the radiator cap when the engine is cold, then start the car and let it run until it's fully warmed up (fan has come on twice).

yup.. the thermostat reaches certain temperature opening the thermostat, and thats when the fan comes on, pushing out air bubbles in the cooling system, when the cap is open. thats when you'll start to see coolant slowly flowing out when fan turns on.
