Lap times, First place car was DA Integra with LS engine and GSR trans...... 1:44. That is moving, H1 record at the track is 1:48.

Wayne roll out to CMP for We-Todd...

Track was good this weekend with more grip for the race cars... good weekend of track time and racing. The new pavement mid apex in a couple corners had better pavement this time.

Big wreck in turn 14, STI went of drivers left into a fence and rolled because he it the water run of ditch....rolled it with no cage. Another Impreza 2.5 blew a motor and another WRX went off in the kink and took out the tires like Hunter did last April. But since his car was bigger it went past the tires.... .

Is the track set up the same? If so, that is friggin' moving!

Jason, This is the new config which i think is 1 or 2 seconds faster.....I don't race and my times with street tires are off by 6 seconds a lap. Jim the race director said it was about the same, but every one's times are faster Condor with the single slam Accord was at 1:51 which is moving for H4 car.

Also, met a kid with CRX with c5 motor said he got his pads from you.

Regarding the CRX owner, it must have been either Todd or Mike, right?

 

Had a blast this weekend at CMP, it took me 2 sessions to get used to the new layout and the old one with patches. The new sweeper from 12 to 14 is alot of fun. I'll try to post one of the vids tonight.

Super nice guy with the Teg. I went over to talk to him expecting to see a K swap .....damn I was suprised to see the ls motor. Not sure about the settings, everything was adjustable and he was rockin slicks. Still hard to believe how fast he was with just suspension/tires/Driver.

Sounds like an eventful weekend. Kevin and John talked about going down Sunday but we didn't get as much done as hoped for to make the trip a possibility.

 

OMFG... that new layout looks ****!!! I can't wait for April!!!

Hope the STI driver was ok. Sucks to hear his misfortune.
