JDM Hydro B16 non-lsd tranny
ls 5th gear swap (including new 5th/R syncro hub set)
50k miles
no grinds
no popouts.
mint transmission

There is about 300 miles since i put the ls 5th in and everything was in great condition.

Reason selling: wrecked the car.

Is this a civic SI tranny, can you prove the miles, was the syncro on the fifth gear done right, and why do you wanna sell it if you dont mind me asking.

 

its not a SI tranny i dont think. It is a jdm b16 tranny from hmotors online that is all i know. I have about 20k miles on it so 50k is an estimate. Inside it looks great so I wouldnt doubt the mileage is low. The 5th gear was installed correctly and workes flawlessly. As i stated in the original post I wrecked the car and I am parting it all out.

can you get us some pics of the tranny? I would like to see the ID plate. Sorry I have just been screwed over one to many times trying to buy a "b16" tranny

 

ill see what i can do. I dont remember any id plates on it but ill see this weekend..I KNOW it has b16 gearing there is nothing else that short. but i understand your consern

Someone correct me if I am wrong but....aren't the only kind of B16's, B16A(only found in civic SI) and the B16B(only found in the civic Type R)?

 

uh, no. b16a's are JDM, originally found in the JDM CRX Sir. All usdm b-series motors have a number following the engine code (i.e. b16a1, b16a3, b18c1, etc etc), JDM engines do not (b16a, b18c, etc etc)
