Default What can i run with my new wheels?

I just bought a set of 16 x 7 rims and am currently looking at tires for them now. I'm going to be running them on a 99 integra ls and I know the recommended tire sizes for that car with a 16" rim are 205/45-16, 215/50-16 and 195/50-16. But does anyone know if I'd be able to pull off 205/40-16? I'm looking for a tire around $75 a piece that doesn't necessarily need to be that long lasting since its not my daily driver and i want a stickier tire but I'm aware that 75 isn't that much to be spending on a tire, I'm just a little low on cash right now.

No, they aren't. The recommended tire sizes are 205/45-16 or 215/45-16.

Not a good idea. That's too small for an Integra. That's the size old Civics use.

If you're not going to run them in winter snow or frigid cold, I recommend the Kumho SPT, $82/tire in 205/45-16 at the Tire Rack. If that's too much for you, you could get the General Exclaim UHP, $67/tire.

If you are going to be running them in winter snow or frigid cold, I recommend the Kumho Ecsta ASX all-season, $74/tire in 205/45-16 at the Tire Rack.

The SPT is the stickiest of these three.
