hello i am working on 98 honda civic EX sohc vtec d16y8... i spin the bearing and have hole in the block so i don;t know if i can use the head yet any wayss.. here are my questions...
1. can d16y7 sohc non vtech bottom end and reuse the vtec head will? if yes is there any modification to make the car run?
2.can i use d16y7 (96-98) non vtec civic engine?
3.if i can use the d16y7 am i gonna have a check engine light on i don;t care about the vtec i just want the car work this is not a performance issue it is just daily driving thanks u so much guys for u help will apperciateit any input....
