Default Getting rid of the coilovers need to find a good lowering spring.

So here is the depressing story... After waiting a month and a half on getting my car back from the paint and body man. The paint job and body work are not the best, very depressing…. Any how on to my question...

Last night I went installed my eBay coil over kit, bad idea already… (EBay Coil Over’s) Also installed the rhino front-end camber kit, which was really lame because you have to grind off ¼ inch off the side nearest to the front of the car, so the camber kit would clear the shock tower area… Now why would you have to modify something that’s should have been made for that application in the first place??

So once everything was bolted up, I noticed the passenger side tow was pointing into the car and the drive side was spot on perfect. This isn’t good I told myself. Well I’m going to need an alignment any how. So I took the ***** around the block, and it rode like all hell. Maybe this could be a fact of using stock dampeners. **** But any how…. I just ordered a set of KYB AGX’s and I’m trying to find a really nice lower spring, what do you guys use and I want to have my stock ls mesh’s almost tucking for a nice clean look on the Sedan.

you will need an alignment no matter what if you change the ride level of your car. if not your tires will suffer hard. regardless if you are running a camber kit. make sure when you get the alignment you point out you have adjustable camber or they wont touch it

the rhino kit needs modification because it fits other cars as well... ive READ that the ball joints dont last more than a few trips to the grocery store either....

i have H&R Sports on my Civic and they are VERY nice. a bit soft but amazing for a DD. most any spring will PWN the egay coils in ridability (coming from a guy who had ebay coils for 2 years)

I also have H&R sports with KYB AGX's. They are pretty damn good.

I would 3rd the H&R sports, I had them on an integra they rode great. And were priced very well. (I would ditch those rhino arms, I trashed the ball joints in mine and also bent them, they are real cheap junk)

i wouldnt run a camber kit unless you are going to SLAM the car. in that case i would use the skunk2 camber kit. it looks badass.

and i wouldnt sell those ebay coilovers less you advertise them as ebay coilovers... or you will have someone coming by smashing your windows out at 2am... heh

Skunk 2 makes adjustable arms for the ef now... I would pay the extra money and pick those up.

i'm going to rock the rhino's till they bust, but i would like to change the ball joint out. you think all the adjustable type balljoints are they same? So hence i could swap the the skunk2 ball joints.
