Front suspension problem
Trying to figure out the cause of my suspension problems....and while I could take it over to a tire shop, I'd like to get some ideas of what it may be, before I go over there.
Just picked up a 1993 Prelude Si, and on the way home, the drive was pretty rough. Every bump felt like I was hitting potholes. On right turns, there was a sound of something scraping, but I haven't been able to discern whether it was the bumper, a tire, or something else.
The alignment is also terrible, as it pulls hard to the driver side. The camber is also drastically off, I believe, as the insides of both front tires were worn down to the metal insides, just from the drive home (40 miles).
My guess, currently, is that my struts are blown, which is causing the front to sag, which is also bowing out the wheels. Just a guess, though.
Given, I was going to replace the suspension with coilovers anyway....just wondering if that will fix that root of the problem or if there's something else I should be looking for?
Thanks.

It does sound like you have blown shocks the way you discribe the hard hitting bumps and such. But im pretty sure your front tire issue has more to do with your alignment being off rather than the camber. With the toe being out of whack, it would wear out the insides of the tires much quicker than camber. Also from my experience blown shocks dont really make the car sag down. If I were you I would just throw on a some decent front tires and take it on an alignment shop. Most places will do an inspection for free and they'll be able to tell you why your car is pulling and what might be causing it, if something is bent or out of whack and what needs to be replaced. Good luck!
