Default 16timer, 16-position BIN switcher for obd1 p28 p30 etc ecu's

Well since a 2timer costs $30, and the parts @moates.net to do a 16-possition switcher costs over $72, I'm hoping to get $25 for this puppy (including 4mbit chip & BIN builder).

I only take paypal, and I can get some vouches from HT if I do some searching. I also have like 200+ feedback on eBay, 100% possitive last time I looked. It will include the 4mbit chip, the file that will build your 16 bins, and some usage instructions written on a napkin.

It works **** in my OBD1 P28, makes street tuning timing a lot easier if you have a det can. And yes, this will fit under a Honda obd1 ecu cover. I can't say it works with OBD0, but it should since they work the same with 27SF512 and 29C256 chips.

$25 shipped w/4mbit chip, obo (please post AND pm me)

Bump for the 16-timer. Looks like you're cutting up a 28 pin socket to make a 32 pin?

Yeah, the difference in price between a 28 and 32 pin socket is like 2-3x, since no surplus place really sells them.

Price drop

BTW just retuned my beater on the street with 87 octane + Crome + 16timer. I managed +5-9 degrees advance throughout WOT sections, and only took one MINUTE to find out how much advance gave me detonation.

HiProfile,

i am interested in your bin switcher but not for a honda application. I use 27SF512 chips in my k car ecu and was wondering if this would work for me and at what memory location is each switch position. my rom size is 16384b (16kb).

please email me at brianbucar at bluefrog dot com.

thanks

Brian

Replied, except I didn't notice your bin size. Doh, I always think Honda.

I think I could make it work and get you 4 bins per chip. If I'm reading the PDF correctly, its A15 and A14 that I have to use to access the correct banks. I'll have to look back at my notes to remember what possition would be which bank. I do know it would be burned to addresses C000, 8000, 4000, and 0000.

I'm making a solenoid-opperated e-cutout (opens in 0.1 second), and this is perfect for that. If the market had those rather than the slow, unreliable motor-opperated e-cutouts, maybe people would want more of these...
