Default Adjustable cam gears????

anyone ever used buddyclub adj. cam gears? or AEM? i once seen a topic on this and some one said theres one that has a special type of teeth that keeps the belt from slipping off of the gears. let me know. thanks

i have aem but its pointless unless your running alot of power and need the flexibilty. just my .02.

I've never heard of the teeth being the problem with adj cam gears.
A more common problem with the cam gears is the adjustment slipping. Most common with 3-bolt designs. The better AEM gears have 5 bolts, skunk2's have 6. Just make sure whatever type you buy, that they have 5 or 6 bolts and not just 3

okay thanks. im worried that the gear will break or my belt slip off because i spent almost a grand on my valve train. im going to be running crower 404's thats why

ours use 4 bolts and we never had any problems with them slipping

It's just the bolts that tend to slip. Heck, I ran those Ebay 5 bolt obx gears on my motor and it never slipped.
