Doin some work on the SOHC. Got the usual intake, header, exhaust. Was looking into a little upgrading of the Camshafts and cam gears. Any suggestions? Unorthodox Adjustable gears with skunk2 camshafts? anything 'll help.

 

If you have a SOHC, I suggest only buying one cam and one cam gear.

I recommend Bisimoto products.

haha, that reminds me of "mishimoto zx tires" lol. i wouldn't think a cam gear would help anything unless you planning on some serious horsepower. but aem makes them for 99 bucks for the sohc.

but come on camshafts? SOHC, Single Over Head Cam.

 

yeah yeah i know there are only one of each bein single. If not that what should i do next? i wanna swap but thats outta the question, too much. so im stayin sohc. bolt on a turbo, upgrade all around or what?

yeah build the sohc motor and turbo it. skunk2 has pretty good camshaft and cam gear. put in some higher compression pistons but i am not sure if some company made those for single cam.

 

i'll keep an eye out. any suggestions on the turbo kits?
