Default Now a Proud Hytech Header Owner!!!

just picked up the Custom Hytech Header from a "local" seller, I drove a hour to pick it up, and I have the flu.

my gf said i had the biggest smile on my face when i was driving home, now i know how you other hytech owners feel pictures up tomorrow when i take a picture of the sexy thing but for now these are the pictures that he posted up, taken with a crappy phone!!

btw, i paid below 50% of what it sells for ($1350)

I don't know if you took this into consideration, but unless it's something other than the one made specifically for the Type-R, you will find fitting issues with the OEM radiator and the A/C fan.

Is there really a difference in power gains from the hytech header and the knock-off header. Cant justify the price on a real hytech. Would rather buy the smsp for the price. Knock off hytech is 400.

this header was originally on a Type R Motor

I also have the hytech replica right next to it, the tubes are SLIGHTLY larger on the hytech and the hytech sits about a cm higher, and its a TAD bit longer. differences are very minimal but the hytech has perfect welds everywhere and mine also has the anti reversion collector, i also noticed that the hytech replicas runners from the top goes out more (towards the radiator) then bends down at a "bigger" angle, while the hytech makes a smooth bend downward

Do you think there will be a difference in power. Due to the minimal difference. Just debating on which one to buy. Thanks for all your input.

it'd be nice for you to post pictures of the differences between the real hytech and the replicas . how often do you see the two side-by-side?

im positive there will be a power difference, the differences may be minimal but there are still differences. i have not looked closely at how the tubes are bent in other places but ill let you know when i do
