Default Kteller Exhuast help

So I got a great deal on a SS Kteller exhuast, problem is that I can't get the 2 peices separated so I can install them. It has the 2 pieces that slide together and have a clamp over them, after loosening the clamp I can't get them apart. I've already tried WD40. I don't want to have to cut them apart and weld back.

try using a propane torch on the outer pipe to expand it. be careful, things get hot real quick.

Yeah, when first installed the 2 parts slid into each other, but after the clamp was put on and tightned down its just stuck together.

Oh yeah, as you can see in the pic I've tried a hammer too, I am thinking about using a cargo strap and pulling it apart with my truck. I just talked to the guy I bought it from and he said he disconnected his lower control arm and put it on that way, didn't want to have to do that but...

Not sounding like such a great deal now... Damn, maybe take to a muffler shop and see if they can separate it, I'm sure they run into this stuff all the time.

EDIT: maybe some large pipe wrenches?
