Default '98+ front end conversion on '94 GSR?

Okay here's the deal. I bought my GSR knowing that it needed a new hood and front bumper. How hard is it (time and money) to convert to a '98+ front end? And what about the rear bumper? Thanks

It shouldn't be too hard finding the parts. You need bumper, fenders, hood, and other things I can't think of.

only different body pieces are the front bumper cover, headlamp assembly. The fenders are the same and so is the hood.... so it wouldn't really matter wat year (1994-2001) hood you got as long as its in good condition i guess. If you plan on doing the rear as well... like they said, its the rear bumper cover and the taillamps are all red as well so you might want those. Check partstrader.com i remember there being a lot of good buys on that site.

People usually forget this one. just to let you know you'll need the brackets to hold the corner lenses from a 98+ bumper cuz the 94+ don't fit it. OR you could retrofit it yourself but I have no clue on how you would do that. my .02

the rear bumper is just bolt on. take off the screws in the wheel well and the ones in the trunk and should come right off.

its goin to be easy for you to find the parts... as long as your willing to spend the money..

if you want the parts quick.. your going to have to pay about $300 for the headlights.. $200 for the taillights, $150 for each bumper.

And after getting the parts you're gonna need to paint them too.

What are the total job price estimates for the 98+ conversion and the JDM conversion? Isn't the JDM a lot more?

I would say around 250-300 with bumper and paint for 98+

JDM is like 2200-3200(depending on HID on non-HID)plus paint and install...

the 98+ is alot easier to put on, just unbolt old bumper and slap it on, JDM has to have the fenders, radiator support changed in order to be put on...
