Hi, I own a 97 Honda accord EX (2.0L engine) and i wanted to know the possibility of installing fog lamps and Xenon lights into the accord.
If installing the fog lamps, it will have to fit flush into the front bumper and be to OEM specs. What level of work will be required for this as to the best of my knowledge, the car is not wired for fog lamps, nor does it have a particular switch to turn them on or off.
Also regarding the xenon lights, is there any way to instal them without changing the entire headlight assy? If not, how hard will it be to install halogens in place of the regular bulb.
Thanks,
Nicolas

Thanks for the reply, but I actually have a 2.0L... The accord I have came straight from japan, its RHD and its my car when im back home in Trinidad ( in the Caribbean)... My volvo s80 is my ride while im in the States...
If you dont mind me asking, where did you purchase the fog lamps? What was the upgrade procedure that you had to go through..
Regarding the xenons, im looking for the kits but the fog lamps are my main upgrade concerns at this point.
Thanks

There's always a good amount of people that have no idea what they have in the car motor wise, or have incorrectly labelled it.
I purchased mine from Mechanicsville Honda in Virginia locally, but they sell them on Ebay (full BNIB OEM fogs)

^^^ use that
It's incredibly straight forward, if you do the "Quick Search" for "fogs" (no quotes) one of the first topics should be one I created with a link to the install PDF's online.
Really takes me probably 30 mins to do the install.
(Bumper removal/etc) It's a 4/10 difficulty wise.
With the PnP kits it's not really recommended due to the glare however in the foglights (OEM ones) would not be too bad.
DEPO ones are decent quality, but I would NOT put a PnP HID setup in them due to their design.
Expect to spend ~$150 on the fogs BNIB.
