Default If only importing an R was easy...

Was googling an image for an EG6 spoiler and came across this on the same exporter's page. A low mileage (37k kilometers) 2000 PY Type-Rx.

Seats look very minty. They only want 1,300,000 yen (~$12,112.74).

A 2000 PY ITR-X was imported and sold for just as much with almost the same amount of miles. They are easier to import then you think, you just have to know the right people.

Wasn't this the Rx that was in an accident and was rebuilt? I could have sworn to god that this exact car was up for sale and someone local to it came on HT and spilled the beans ....

Could just be my imagination .....

lol. "i'd like to check this piece of luggage in... don't worry, i'll pay the extra 75 bucks for the overweight size. oh, there's another 75 for the oversize dimensions? oh, ok."

i brought FOUR kosei k1s with tires on the plane back home when i went to the east coast this last month for a supposed "business trip." good thing my wife came with me and southwest allows THREE suitcases per person! united started charging for the 2nd bag!!! just chop this R up, and stuff the parts in suitcases like you said.

Those yellow seats are hideous. I wonder who the genius was at Honda that came up w/ that idea. "Hey, let's put some Care Bear yellow seats in this Type Wah."

Doosty, you should buy it and have the U.S. government ship it to the States.

Haha I fell sorry for you guys, for me it is that easy (though it would cost more because of the exchange rate in my country) I could have that in my hand for about $16,000 registered on the road within 2months of purchase.

Thats how I got my DB8R

It's different here in Hawaii though. If you imported that thing to Oahu:
1) Shipping would be around $700.00
2) Our DOT simply requires a 'safety check' which you and I know...can be bypassed if need be.

This car... or any JDM car for that matter is more attainable here than anywhere else in the U.S.
