Default b18c1 block, b16a2 head, ctr cams, ctr pistons

I have a 99 si and the piston wrings are gone so i decided to rebuild. These are the parts i have so far to work with. b18c1 complete short block, my b16 head with ctr cams, new oem oil pump, water pump, and timing belt. I want to replace the stock gsr pistons and rods with ctr pistons. I have $1000 budget and im aiming for reliability above all. does anyone have any feedback about the nippon racing ctr pistons? Any other input or info to consider would be most helpful. Thanks

CTR pistons are not worth it.

search for the PCT thread.

Use RS machine ITR replica pistons, no additional machining required and your compression will be about 11:1.

I'm running your set-up right now. Except, I have blox As.
