Default Ground Control Top Hat question

Has anyone used Ground Control Top Hats on any other coilover ? Trying to find out if they will work with my Skunk2 Coilovers. I was on their webstie and said will only work with ground control kits. But just seeing if they will work. Thanks

wont work.
The shock body has to fit inside the hole of the top hat.
I beleive Koni shocks are the only ones that fit, not sure about KYB and such.

lol... so funny. who told you this?

anyway, what rob is talking about is if youre using a "full coilover". in that case it wont work. or is needed.

if youre just trying to fit it on skunk2 "sleeve over" than its fine. 2.5" ID refers to the inside diameter of the spring. most sleeve overs are 2.5" ID anyway, because they all copy GC.

It depends on the diameter of the tube that comes out of the shock body...the GC mount also tapers on the inside. It probably won't work right out of the box.
