Which (front) strut bar fits with GC extended top hats
I have a 98 Civic on koni/GC suspension. It's lowered to the point where a have about a 2 finger gap in the front. I've been having a problem with hitting my bumpstops, so I went ahead and bought the GC extended top hats.
However, when I went to install I found that I have a clearance issue with my strut bar (off an Civic SiR). I think I could probably notch out where the bar bolts up to solve the problem, but I don't know how this will affect its integrity.
I'm considering purchasing an aftermarket bar which won't have any clearance issues, but I'm not sure which ones would be OK. Can anyone help me with this?

I have a factory Si bar and GC top hats, too. I used some vice grips to bend that plate up a little, to allow room for the top hats. The vice grips slightly marred the black finish, but I really tightened those vice grips, so they didn't slip and scratch it all up. You wouldn't have to bend it up that much. I got the bar for free and wouldn't spend any kind of money on something like that.
I took a Dremel to my stock GSR bar. Only needed to remove maybe 3mm in a circular arc from the flat triangular sections.
