Default gees

I borrowed a buddies GEES meter for my last slalom. it records your accelleration,
braking and left/right g's that u are pulling on course.

I got 1.28 g's turning left, 1.04 turning right, .9 g's braking, and .81 g's accellerating.

im just wondering if anyone has similar info so I can know if this is really good, or really
bad

Acceleration (g's), either lateral (cornering) or longitudinal (braking, accelerating) is a change in velocity - either a change of direction, since velocity is a "speed" in a particular direction, or in the speed itself. The point is, it doesn't much matter how fast he was going.

The bigger question is the shape of the acceleration "curve" and/or the area under it. You could have an instantaneous spike of 1.2g but that wouldn't represent much in the way of on-track performance. The trick is to maximize cornering, braking and acceleration so that you are operating at a maximum acceleration loading for a maximum time.

On an auto-x course, the real challenge is making the transitions from braking to turning, or turning to braking, (or whatever) so that you go from 1g of braking to 1g of left turn, via .5g of each. I am oversimplifying but you probably get the point...

Data are good!
