The jdm DC2R seats are re-upholstered Recaro SR-III
The jdm DC5R seats are re-upholstered Recaro SR-V

One of the bigger (more noticeable) differences besides dimensions between the two seats are the color & size of the embossed Recaro logo as well as the layout of the hole(s) for the harness.

 

i also notice that the Recaro in the DC2 is more sturdy in construction and the side bolsters are way more padded. The DC5 Recaros will suit larger people better because its not as padded.

 

i saw some for a couple thousand.

Honda Australia sell the seats for $3000 AUD each. Im not sure if this comes with the seat rails. HTH

 

I've never seem them in that midnight blue color (always red).. they look good..

 

The DC5 Recaros are different than the DC2 Recaros. There are noticable differences when you look at the pictures.

We can get: Red, Blue and black - I think thats all the colours same as JDM DC5R models.

These ishis are expensive but they are worth it . Used for 3000.00 at JDMHONDAPARTS.COM.

actually I have a pair right now, red in colour, in the car for 2000kms, not sure how to ship it to US though

 

it'll cost a fair amount to get it shipped but with you US guys exchange rates should be piece of cake!
